Animals - Wildlife In The Beautiful Swamp..
Everglades Animals.
In the Florida Everglades there are many
different kinds of animals including panthers
and bears. There are 36 protected species that
live inside the park, including the American
crocodile, snail kite, West Indian manatee, Cape
Sable seaside sparrow, Florida panther, Wood
Stork and four varieties of sea turtles. I have
lived in the Everglades for 6 years and I have
never seen a panther or bear. There are lots of
Possum, Raccoons and Deer. |

Everglades National Park.
Everglades National Park, the largest
subtropical wilderness in the United States,
boasts many rare and endangered species. It has
been designated a World Heritage Site,
International Biosphere Reserve, and Wetland of
International Importance, significant to all
people of the world. The Everglades termed the
beautiful swamp is in all reality a river of
grass that meanders very slowly through a sub
tropical wilderness as flat as a tale top, there
are no rugged mountains or dashing streams
cutting through the landscape. The Everglades is
a place of silent beauty, magnificent serenity
can be found just a few paces off the road a
place where one can get lost in solitude. |
