Everglades Photo Galleries.
The Florida Everglades is often called the
beautiful swamp and it is just that. It is an ever changing
colorful landscape teeming with all kinds of wildlife.
The Everglades is a photographers dream, I am in the
swamp from dawn to dusk, in the rain and in the sunshine
and there is always an abundance of photographic opportunities.
Alligator
Photos.
In the Florida Everglades, huge alligators
lie basking in the sun and the swampy heat, keeping
one eye open for their next big meal. At night the swamp
resounds with their roars and the ground trembles as
they act out their mating rituals.
Everglades Wilderness.
Everglades Wilderness. At first glance the
casual observer may see little more than endless tracks
of grass punctuated with clusters of trees. However,
take a little time and examine closer. Only then can
one begin to appreciate the fantastic beauty of this
natural wilderness. The river of grass as it is called
is fifty miles wide and runs from lake Ochochopee to
the gulf of Mexico. It may look as if the water is still
but look closer and you will see that it is moving ever
so slowly.

Everglades Landscape.
The Florida Everglades. Often called the
beautiful swamp is in all reality a river of grass that
meanders very slowly through a sub tropical landscape
as flat as a tale top, there are no rugged mountains
or dashing streams cutting through this beautiful landscape.
Everglades Tranquility.
The Everglades is a place of incredible tranquil
beauty, magnificent serenity can be found just a few
paces off the road, a place where one can get lost in
the silence and solitude, it is like the dawn of time.
Some times as the dawn is breaking in this ancient swamp
land I am sure I can hear the murmur of the first dinosaur. |
